Our Story.
Who we are
Eugene Hearing Speech was born out of a shared struggle and a collective vision. Our six founding members – Emily, Sarah, Jessica, Kate, James, and Michael – each experienced the isolating and debilitating impact of tinnitus in their lives.
United by a desire to make a difference, they came together to create a platform that would empower individuals just like them to regain control of their lives and overcome the challenges of tinnitus.
Emily, an experienced audiologist, was the first to recognize the need for a comprehensive resource on tinnitus. While treating her own tinnitus, she saw firsthand the lack of reliable information and the need for a supportive community to help others navigate their journey. Inspired by her own experiences, Emily reached out to Sarah, a fellow audiologist, to begin exploring ways to bridge this gap.
Sarah, who had been living with tinnitus for years, immediately understood the importance of Emily’s vision. Enthusiastic about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, she brought in Jessica and Kate, two skilled healthcare professionals who shared their passion for improving the lives of individuals with tinnitus.
James, a seasoned web developer, and Michael, a talented graphic designer, joined the team to transform Emily’s vision into reality. With their combined expertise, they built the Eugene Hearing Speech website, creating a user-friendly platform that provides valuable information, resources, and support for those affected by tinnitus.
